In the year 2015 I have founded my one-man business.
Design of fish farms based on fish production, climate, space and water availability.
Preparation of technical drawings, process diagrams, system descriptions, project calculations and parts lists.
Evaluation of RAS and project documents. Technology and process optimization. Management.
Aquaculture know-how
The water world has fascinated me since I was a child. 29 years ago the master`s degree program Fishery Science and Aquaculture allowed me to increase my passion.
Since then, I have been working as fish farm operator, project engineer and project manager specializing in RAS, trout farming and aquaculture of sturgeon and caviar: curriculum vitae
Since 2022 I have been working as fish farm manager for Mohnen aquaculture. We produce trout and charr in flow-through and hybrid-flow-through systems.
From 2018-2019 I was head of production for “Kasperskian” in Switzerland. The focus was on production of ovulated caviar. Due to serious deficiencies of the project concept the operation was consequently stopped.
From 2020-2021 I did the engineering of aquaculture systems for trout and char as a project manager for tirolfisch. The Schwaz project was completed in 2024.
As an aquaculture project engineer, I planned RAS for EMF from 2013-2015. In Nigeria I was responsible for construction supervision of a large fish farm for Nile tilapia and African catfish.
I was employed as a fisheries biologist at UFT from 2006-2012. My area of responsibility included R&D and numerous basic planning of RAS.
Moreover I was involved in the construction supervision of a mega project for sturgeon and caviar production in Abu Dhabi.
I was fish farm manager of AquaOrbis from 2008-2010. Sturgeon and caviar are still produced in Jessen.
From 2003-2005 I was fish farm manager on a “Fischtechnik” RAS, eel farm “Domäne Voldagsen”. In 2004 we switched to sturgeon for Caviar Creator.
